  1. I did not give birth there, but Dr. Yvette Kong, who used to work at Parkway, is my OBGYN and she is absolutely the BEST OBGYN i ever had in my life. I went all the way to Pudong to see her and once again was not disappointed. I am an old patient and went on a very slow day, so we had a long chat and she told me that she has delivered a few babies there already (had been there a month then) and she had all positive experiences with the team and the equipment. She said she feels this hospital is better equipped to deal with an emergency than Parkway, the NICU is in the same building and their equipment is superior to that of Parkway. Anyway, if only for Dr. Kong, and I would still feel safe having my baby there.
  2. We are a British family, husband and wife with two young children who will be relocating to Thailand, taking regular trips around south east asia, this is our first time relocating overseas and unsure what are the best and most suitable health insurance plans for us. We would like to have full global coverage (ex USA) for international standard healthcare with direct billing, we have only looked at options with major health insurance companies and have not yet approached a broker, would be using a broker be a smart idea or would it increase the cost ? Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Jane & Family
